Clothing Care & Staying Sustainable
Clothing Care & Staying Sustainable

We've put together a few helpful tips to ensure that your favorite workout fits stay in top condition for as long as possible. Proper care not only helps maintain the quality, color, and shape of your activewear but also enhances its longevity, allowing you to get the most out of every piece. From washing and drying techniques to storage recommendations, our tips will help you preserve the fabric’s performance, elasticity, and softness. By following these simple yet effective care guidelines, you can keep your activewear looking and feeling as good as new, workout after workout.

READ THE CARE LABEL

It seems like an easy one, but doing this first will help you avoid any washing, drying or ironing errors at the wrong setting. So read the care label and make sure you understand those symbols too, if the garment doesn't have a care label the same instruction will on the site under the product field " Material & care"

WASH YOUR CLOTHES INSIDE OUT

Sweat, dead skin cells and bacteria accumulate on the inside of your garments, which can cause them to smell worse than some 3-day-old lukewarm cake batter (yeah, sorry about that). By washing your clothes inside out, it will ensure a more thorough clean.

WASH AT LOW OR COLD TEMPERATURES

Washing on too high a heat can waste a lot of energy, so save that energy to go towards baking the cake and wash your sportswear at 30°C or below where you can.

AVOID THE TUMBLE DRYER

All that heat and agitation from tumble drying will shorten the lifespan of your sportswear and we don't want that. Wherever possible, air dry those 'fits to preserve their elasticity, logos, and prints for longer. Air drying will also save energy and greenhouse gas emissions, so you can do your bit for the environment when caring for your 'fits.

STORING YOUR ACTIVEWEAR

To keep your activewear in top shape, fold it neatly instead of hanging to prevent stretching. Organize by type and color for easy access, and use drawer dividers to maintain order. Opt for compact folding techniques to save space, and store items in clear bins or baskets for visibility and convenience.
