About BAAKD
Our Mission: Building a community and awakening the kid in you through design, creativity, and collaboration.
We’re breaking down the barriers between the things we love, the cultures we grew up with, and the world of fitness. Too often, the industry forces people into an “either-or” mindset—as if fitness and self-expression, performance and comfort, or discipline and joy can’t coexist. We reject that notion completely.
At BAAKD, we believe that everyone deserves to embrace a lifestyle that feels authentic, balanced, and sustainable—one that allows you to push your limits while staying true to who you are. Fitness isn’t about fitting into a mold; it’s about creating space for movement, strength, and self-expression in a way that works for you.

Meet The Founder
I’m Beth—a mom to three precious cats and a dog—and I’m deeply passionate about breaking down barriers in the fitness world.
At BAAKD, I believe that fitness shouldn’t mean giving up the things we love or leaving behind the identities we’ve grown up with. I reject the “either-or” mindset that’s so common in the industry. You don’t have to choose between strength and softness, aesthetics and function, or discipline and joy. I believe in finding a balance that feels real, sustainable, and uniquely yours.
From day one, BAAKD has been built on three core principles: Quality, Grit, and Kindness. These values guide everything we do—our products, our team, and the experience we offer our community.
More than anything, kindness and making sure we provide the best service possible truly matter to me. If there’s ever anything you feel needs attention, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me personally at beth@baakd.com—I’d genuinely love to hear from you.

Our Ethos
For The Kid In You
Inspired by the essence of childhood
There is a child within all of us, the societal expectations of adulthood often buries that essence. Over time, we lose the qualities of that inner child, the feelings that once made us fearless, creative, and endlessly curious.
Persist Relentlessly: Every child stumbles before learning to walk, yet never gives up. As adults, we understand persistence and perseverance—but often forget to embody them.
Creativity: Kids instinctively challenge the status quo, finding solutions without overthinking. They create freely, without constraints—something we lose as we grow.
Curiosity & Excitement: Children question everything with boundless enthusiasm. As adults, we assume we "know it all," dampening that spark. It’s time to reignite it.
Rediscover The Joy of Movement: As kids, movement is effortless and joyful. But as adults, life’s pressures make us forget that simple pleasure. By slowing down and reconnecting with our bodies, we can rediscover that childlike sense of freedom and joy through movement.
